Project Manager I

Position Summary

Emory Libraries seeks an enthusiastic critical thinker and problem solver to serve in the role of Project Manager for the libraries. Reporting to the Head of the Libraries’ Project Management Office in the Library Technology and Digital Strategies division, the Project Manager will be engaged at all levels of a project identifying opportunities and constraints of a given project and taking responsibility for setting and managing expectations with the project team and stakeholders. The Libraries place high value on both individual contributions and teamwork, the Project Manager will be an essential part of the libraries ensuring the organization is able to move forward its major strategic projects.  The Project Manager will employ appropriate project management methodologies to help to gather information from stakeholders, translate requirements into goals, milestones, and workplans, manage day-to-day operations of projects under their purview, and ensure projects meet their stated goals on time and within budget.
