Individual Study Rooms and Carrels

Eligibility and Terms of Use

During the academic year, a limited number of Woodruff Library studies and carrels are available to faculty, and Laney Graduate School students who have achieved candidacy and have the support/commitment from their PI/DGS. Open carrels are available to graduate students not eligible for library studies, and undergraduate honors students to facilitate research and scholarship activities heavily dependent upon engagement with library collections and services.

The Emory Libraries strive to provide an environment conducive to a variety of study needs and intellectual pursuits. The Library Code of Conduct is intended to ensure a positive experience for all patrons where everyone is treated with respect and courtesy. Review of the Code of Conduct and acceptance of the Terms of Use agreement is required prior to occupancy.
