The Joseph W. Jones Room in the Woodruff Library Building is an event space available to departments and offices affiliated with Emory University or sanctioned Emory student organizations.

About 

The primary function of the Joseph W. Jones Room is to host meetings and special events given by departments and offices affiliated with Emory University or sanctioned Emory student organizations. The room is not available for public use.

Catered events are allowed, and catering can be staged in the adjacent kitchen.

The room is equipped with a variety of audio / visual equipment, including a projection screen, microphones, and a touchscreen PC. 

Reserve the Room 

A reservation request may be submitted up to three months in advance via LibCal.

The Jones Room no longer has facilities to assist with room set-ups. All events will be responsible for their room set-up. You are welcome to hire Emory Staging to complete your set-up. They can be reached at 404-727-7463 or you can submit an online request.

Cancellations 

Cancellations must occur at least 48 hours prior to the event date.

In the case in which the campus sends out notice of a campus closing, Jones Room reservations will be cancelled due to proper staffing. Should your event take place the next open day of campus opening.

Room Rates 

1 - 4 hours = $300

4 – 12 hours and weekends (based on library hours) = $600

Please check the Woodruff Library Building hours when booking space to ensure that your event is within operating hours.

Hours include pre-event staging and ending when the users have exited and all associated items have been removed from the room.

Parking 

Parking is available in the Fishburne Parking Deck (Weekdays: free after 5PM, Weekends: free).
