Kim completed her undergraduate degree at Emory University before joining the Emory University Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine as a research scientist. She completed a Master’s Degree in Health Science Librarianship in 2010 and joined Emory Libraries in 2011. Since then she’s developed library services around publication analytics and research impact metrics. In 2016, Kim took on the full time role of Research Impact Informationist. She is an author and collaborator on several papers on citation tracking strategies, defining researcher impact, and the library’s involvement in supporting research quality and publication integrity.
