Connections: The Power of Objects

Ongoing through Sunday, January 8, 2023

Emory Libraries welcomes visitors to its new exhibit, “Connections: The Power of Objects,” now open in the Woodruff Library. This exhibit showcases special collections held or displayed by Emory University and close collaborators — 16 libraries, museums, and other organizations that collect, preserve, or foster the use of objects to increase knowledge, spark curiosity, encourage discovery, and promote creativity. The CDC museum, Carlos Museum, Science Gallery Atlanta, Arts and Social Justice Fellows Program, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum, Emory Herbarium, and many other partners are featured in this exhibit.

“Connections” is on view now through Jan. 8, 2023, in the Corridor Gallery on Level 3 of Emory’s Woodruff Library. Check the hours webpage at libraries.emory.edu/hours before you come in. (Closed on holidays.)

A celebration will be held on Nov. 17, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m., starting with a program in the Jones Room on Level 3, followed by a reception in the adjoining Schatten Gallery. The events are open to the public at no charge, and attendees can register at emorylib.info/Connections.
