Wind at My Back: An Evening Conversation with Misty Copeland

Emory Libraries, in partnership with Emory College of Arts and Sciences Dance Program and Pathways Center, is proud to present “Wind at My Back: An Evening Conversation with Misty Copeland,” moderated by Angela Harris, Emory Dance Program.

Talent, passion, and perseverance can fuel a dream, but having the foundation of an unwavering support system can transform dreams into reality.

Join Misty Copeland, the first Black female principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, for an evening of thought-provoking conversation as she discusses her incredible journey –  reflecting on obstacles she’s overcome, lessons learned, remarkable mentors who have guided her on her path, and her hopes and aspirations for the future.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is strongly urged due to limited seating.
