Data
Emory Libraries provide access to a substantial number of quantitative data resources and services as well as assistance in utilizing such resources for research and teaching, including GIS. Data services are located in the Emory Center for Digital Scholarship (ECDS) on the third floor of the Woodruff Library Building. Databases@Emory includes access to most of our licensed data resources. However, for more discipline and subject specific data sources and assistance, both freely available and licensed, please consider the detailed Data Resources Research Guide and/or a dedicated research/course guide. In addition, a strong print qualitative and quantitative methods collection is maintained in print and online (e.g., Sage Research Methods Online) and is searchable via Library Search.
Purchase and acquisition of research datasets is guided by our research dataset collection policy, which is a component of our larger collection policy.
We are also expanding our support for qualitative data tools, as well for and collection of text mining tools, and provide access to a number of text corpora.
For assistance with research data management and depositing data to Dataverse, please visit the Emory University Research Data website.
