Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library

The Rose Library proudly serves as the repository for the Camille Billops and James V. Hatch Archives. In 1981, Billops and Hatch began publishing Artist and Influence, a journal dedicated to preserving the oral histories of artists, art historians, filmmakers, and writers. Over the decades, the duo coordinated more than 1,500 interviews, with a little more than 400 appearing in print. Tapping into the spirit from which this dedicated couple lived and worked, the Rose Library seeks to continue their tradition by hosting public Artist & Influence interviews.

This year's program will be an afternoon interview with actresses Anna Maria Horsford and Victoria Rowell. Anna Maria Horsford is an Emmy nominated actress and director, whose extensive filmography includes "The Bold and the Beautiful", “Amen,” and “The Wayans Bros.”. Victoria Rowell is an award-winning actress, producer, director, and writer whose credits include “The Young and the Restless”, “Diagnosis: Murder”, and “The Rich and the Ruthless”.
