Chris Handley joined Emory in September, 2019. Chris began his career with a traditional typography house in his home town of St. Louis, where he mastered typography and desktop publishing skills. His experience grew while working with some of the top advertising and design firms in the city. An opportunity to learn more about targeting demographics and consumer behavior led to a graphic design position with a marketing research firm.
Then the blue waters of Hawaii called, and Chris became the Art Director for Honolulu’s largest advertising agency, Starr Seigle McCombs. At SSM, he helped to create collateral advertising campaigns.
After moving to Atlanta in 1995, Chris freelanced as a Graphic Designer, providing clients with the full spectrum of design skills necessary to create unique artwork from concept to completion. A few years later, Chris became Creative Director for a local PR firm to expand the firm’s marketing range to offer design services.
In 2009, Chris launched Snowball Creative Group to bring more specialized design services to his clients.
Chris enjoys fine art photography, cooking, playing guitar, and mountain biking.
