Professional Profile

Hannah C. Griggs received her PhD in English from Emory in 2022. She holds an MA in English from Boston College, and a BA in English and Spanish from Loyola New Orleans. Her research focuses on late nineteenth and twentieth-century American literature, African American Literature, American Studies, Cultural Studies, Leisure Studies, and the Digital Humanities. Hannah's library and publishing experience at Emory includes serving as a graduate assistant to the English subject librarian and Head of Instruction and Engagement, and as the Assistant Managing Editor for Southern Spaces. She has published work in The Atlantic and Eater.
